Officials and members of the San Pablo Parish Pastoral Council in Malitbog Bukidnon led by Fr. Rhut Develos (left) get a briefing on the 210(net) MW Mindanao Coal-Fired Power Plant Project  now currently being put-up by a German-company STEAG State Power Inc. (SPI) at the PHIVIDEC Industrial Estate in Villanueva, Misamis Oriental.  The activity is part of SPIs continuing commitment to inform communities within the vicinity of the project about the relevance of the power plant to Mindanao’s sustained development. During the forum, the safety and environmental soundness of the project including its social benefits were discussed. Fr. Develos lauded SPI for its proactive stance in informing communities about the project.
