Fr. Elcon Magtrayo of Villanueva Parish leads guests and visitors during the blessing of the new Sibol Daycare Center at the GK San Roque Village in Dayawan, Villanueva, Misamis Oriental. Funded through a $US10,000 donation made recently by officials and employees of local and foreign bank partners of STEAG State Power Inc. (SPI), the new structure will directly benefit 37 children from the village. The project forms part of an integrated social development program designed to benefit host communities in Villanueva where the 210MW (net) Mindanao Coal-Fired Power Plant Project is on-going construction.
